Offering film as an add-on? How do you do it?
Post Body

I love shooting film, but its just my own personal thing right now. I've talked about incorporating it into my wedding work for like a decade but wonder what the best way to do it is. I DO NOT want to be a 100% film photographer. I honestly couldn't do it with the uncertainty of midwest weather and so many of the venues I shoot in being dark, boring boxes — I just couldn't deliver the product my clients expect with film alone.

But I'd love to offer it, and give it a way to pay for itself. Any suggestions on how to do it? My initial thought is a few different levels of add-ons depending on how much they want. I've literally got everything from Holga to Hasselblad to Pentax 67 to Graflex AeroEktar... so I have so many options when it comes to style and format. I figure some people would just be excited to get a small handful of portraits on film. But maybe some might want to have little bits and pieces throughout the day on film. But how would I word exactly what that looks like?

And the nice thing about it being an optional add-on is that I can say up front that film packages are refundable in the event film is lost, damaged, or doesn't work out for whatever reason. Definitely takes some of the stress off and helps it maintain the fun aspect.
