Good morning guys,
I have a few questions. The first one is on editing.
Suppose I want the light and airy look for my wedding/engagement photos, but the wedding I shot is a rustic type wedding. Should I still apply the same set of presets I would for the light and airy weddings but tweak them for the rustic one, or forgo that preset and go for one that better fits the wedding type? I've shot photos at one outdoor wedding where the same filter wouldn't apply well for all of the shots on the indoor wedding.
For consistency, how does one go about having about the same style of editing among photos in different lighting? I want to have a style that represents me among all my photos and one of the ways to do that is to have the same editing/presets among my photos. If I had a wider selection of photos to pick from shooting more weddings, I can choose to only post the ones that have a plain background, have white dresses, and are outdoors, but I don't have the luxury of being able to do that so I pick the best shots from my shoots to use as my portfolio even if that means the editing can't be all that similar.
Here's an example of a shoot that I did at a different type of day with different lighting than a usual mid day/early afternoon shoot, that warranted a different editing style causing me to go from "light and airy" to more fall like. The clients loved the fall photos though and at the end of the day that's the goal, but for posting and keeping my instagram feed cohesive, should I incorporate these photos to my feed? I was thinking of posing 3 of their photos in a row so when you look at the feed from overview its 3 fall like photos, then I can follow it with 3 light and airy photos and keep that pattern going (mainly just a row of similar photos).
On social media, Instagram specifically, I know that posting once a day is good. For wedding photography, is once a day too much to post?
