Hey guys, I thought I'd post here about WebVR support in Scene. I started building SceneVR when the webvr builds by tojiro and mozilla were announced, it's the whole reason I decided that the browser was a suitable platform for UI.
In the issue were I removed webvr support, I mentioned that WebVR was going to come back in a few months. The biggest problem I have with webVR is that I don't have a good way of rendering the div-based overlays (which are used for chat) in VR, and also there was a bunch of other UI that just isn't working right in VR, and I decided I'd rather make SceneVR work well for the common use cases, and then work on the harder use cases.
Basically, WebVR support is coming back, I just want to make sure it's good this time. I'd also like to add support for Google Cardboard at the same time.
