I just finished making a song and uploading it, turning my 1 hour session of "tweaking a few things" while my girlfriend did homework, into a almost 5 hour session because "no wait im on to something". While I was putting it in my iTunes library so I can have it on my phone I ended up scrolling through the first album I ever made and just went back and listened to my first song and just had a moment where I realized that I have come so far. It was very gratifying to realize that without even thinking about it I have learned how to capitalize on the little melodies that play through my head at a level that I never thought I would reach. When I started making music it was just gonna be a hobby in my free time and then slowly but surely making songs became my free time. I branched into things that I never thought I would do like making collaborations with other artists and just realizing that I have really genuinely taught myself something from the ground up left me with a deep sense of satisfaction that i hope everyone gets to experience.
