To sort of get the ball rolling behind a recent post of mine, regarding the behaviour of contributors and critics alike on WATMM. I'm offering what little knowledge I own, to those who are willing to steer themselves in the right direction with their music.
My aural specialities are owed primarily to a colourful history of resorcefulness... for example - making do with the crappiest audio gear known to most anyone (grew up in a poor family).
You have no idea how hard you can push your hardware and programs that we all (yes, me included... sometimes) just take for granted nowadays. I remember using a parts of an old telephone, frankensteind' together with some old speaker cable to record drum beats from an MP3 into SndRec.exe <-- that was a key way of getting samples without precise audio software. Then I finally got a hold of goldwave and the world became a much brighter place.
But basically, I've over 10 years experience with creating//composing music. Ranging from Dance//Trance//Grindcore//Acoustic//Shoegaze//8-Bit//Ambience//Glitch and so on) and I've an affinity for new and interesting sounds, as well as the warm and familiar.
I also now own a (after my 10 years) a set of proper Monitor speakers and I assure that your audio will sound as intended on my system.

Send me something you're proud of and I'll give it a fair trial. Please note that I'm void of any musical training in the formal sense and you will only get out what my ears put in, honest yet untrained feedback.

I'm hoping that this review thread will encourage or at least pave the way for WATMM to become the healthy and inspiring place it once was when I first started lurking reddit, so many years ago.
