re-pitching your songs after exporting (before mastering)
Post Body

Hi all, So recently i stumbled upon this lil technique that involves transposing or repitching a song after its been exported to a single WAV file. I find this gives me a new perspective on the tune , it feels like im hearing it with 'fresh ears' and just sounds new again! Sometimes i leave the song this way (transposed/pitched up 1 or 2 semitones) and then apply the mastering chain. I made a video about it and it just got a bunch of dislikes and but nobody bothered to comment and say why doing this is a bad idea or unprofessional or whatever. ,maybe because i put the word 'tutorial' in the title of the video but whatever right ? If somebody could explain to me why they think this is bad practice that'd be swell.. ill link the video below for anyone interested https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVPh7r1SWpI
