My band wants to cover New Order's Blue Monday live, what do we need?
Post Body

We're really influenced by New Order and thought it'd be cool to actually cover blue monday live.

there's 3 of us.

one guy on bass, one guy on keys, and another on keys and a drum pad.

MY QUESTION: we need the drums and bass line synth sequenced and repeating in the back, while we play the lead keys, vocals, and guitar.

the thing is, I normally hate bands that play to a laptop or something, but what is the best option? should we produce the track on a DAW and play to it live?

What about perhaps using an iPad or some other live tool?

if you were going to cover this song, how would you do it?
