Guaranteed the ones that stopped working were used for back to back sessions where it got over heated, the directions state not to use it for more than four sessions, so if you use it for personal use you'll never need it for four sessions and it'll last forever.
People these days watch YouTube videos, buy the product and misuse them, don't be them.
