Photos are after and before the haircut, plus one the night after it got cut before I washed it myself while it was still straight from her blow drying it with a brush, if anyone wants to get a better idea of the layers. Sorry the last photo is gross lol I really need to clean my bathroom mirror.
I just googled “long shag” and showed the hairstylist a few photos. I have thick hair and had no layers so from start to finish the cut took over two hours, but I’m so happy with the results! It’s been two weeks now and it’s been really easy - even when it’s a bit messy after sleeping on it, it looks kind of intentionally messy and cool so I don’t always even do a refresh.

My favorite haircut was also a long shag. It works so well for waves! Your hair is gorgeous! 😍
