This is a re-write of the first episode of the Thai series 2gether. The premise of the story is that Tine, a freshman at this college, is being chased by Green, another student at their school. Tine then enlists the help of the campus “heartthrob” Sarawat, asking Sarawat to pretend to be his boyfriend so Green will back off. Unbeknownst to Tine, Sarawat had seen him at a concert a year before, had fallen in love with him, and had been searching for Tine since then. The show is from Tine’s perspective, but to me the more interesting view point would have been Sarawat’s. I wanted to write Sarawat’s point of view. I also did my best to stay true to their interactions in person on the show. You can watch the first episode on YouTube, but Sarawat doesn’t appear until towards the middle or end. I am unsure of whether or not I will continue rewriting the story/series from Sarawat’s point of view, as I would take out a lot of the added storylines that I felt were unnecessary. But who knows?
