I am planning on running this in November for some friends, but I want to change a few things. I know I will only run this once and I want to see all the bad guys and give my players a chance to do a lot so I want to introduce all the bosses.
(Note this is all based off a quick glance at the book and reading this sub a bit )
I want to start pretty normal but require the players to get either 3 or 4 of the keys to finish the campaign. One of the big bads will align themselves with the party and explain where the other 3 keys are. Not sure how to give the players a choice of who to align with.
Once they learn where the keys are they will be told that there is no way to steal all the keys at once since as soon as one is stolen the other key holders will tighten protection, so they will have to lie low after the heists. I will do my best to convey that each key will be more difficult than the last as each key holder tightens security, so they might want to steal which ever key they think will be the hardest first.
After each heist I will give them 3-4 downtime(unsure if I will hand wave it away or we will do some small adventures around the city).
Once they have the keys they will work with their patron who has the final key to open the vault? Depending on the actions the players take and who they align with, they might get double crossed or they might try and double crossed their patron.
Any tips or major problems you foresee?
