So do they really sacrifice 100 souls a year? Or is this ChatGPT riffing? She also sounds like a victim of her ancestor's deeds. Which I'm pretty sure is not true.

BUT this has given me an amazing idea for the Cassalanters to convince my players to help. The PCs agreed to help but are currently suspecting the C's of shenanigans and are thinking of reneging on their agreement (they don't care about the kids lol). So I'm thinking Ammalia will lie to them and say that it wasn't her enemies who cursed her children (as Vittoro claimed), it was her husband's ancestors and she didn't know about this when she married him. I think they'll fall for it. ;)

Besides I love an unscrupulous woman. And I love that in my game, they are being pulled one one side by Vajra and Laeral and in the other by Ammalia. :D
