So I've just finished 120h fast during which I just had water with electrolytes. At first I was doing fast simply to reduce weight and get mental clarity. And whilst I did not feel bad during that fast, I decided to end it after I started hearing that different benefits such as autophagy peak around 72h and then you get diminished returns.
So I was thinking about doing a 4 day OMAD followed by 3 day fast as my routine. That is because I have also heard about "fast and feast" approach. Any recommendations? Do you even think it's a good approach?
Today after I ate my first meal (soft boiled eggs, gherkin and a lean piece of meat) I felt like nothing had changed from before the fast, and also felt really sleepy. Maybe I had a bit too much food but I also wanted to start the OMAD right and ate everything within 30mins. Is that normal response of your body to first food after a while?
