Water Pressure

So I find myself in an interesting situation. We bought a new construction home about four months ago. For some reason the water pressure in our second floor was on the weaker end compared to the first floor.
This week we installed an aquasure water softener and now the pressure in our two showers upstairs are horrible, it is extremelyw weak. Is there anything we can do? TIA
