Hi fellow watch lovers! I’m going to keep the actual story short. Around the end of 2014 my moms health was declining and we had to get rid of a lot of things to help her. Watches sadly included. She passed in January of 2019. Me and my family are starting to get back on track and finances are in a much better position compared to then. The watch my dad had was a seiko. It was a bracelet and stainless steel. The color wasn’t quite as dark as gun metal but wasn’t the typical stainless color either. The watch also had gold plating or accents to it. The crown was gold and on top it had a blue sapphire on it. The watch was also a chronograph. One of the quirks I saw with this watch was the actual second hand only worked when you turned the chronograph feature on. The second hand for the chronograph part was the second hand the the watch used when the chronograph wasn’t in use. I know at the end of the day it is just a watch and all. It would mean a lot if I was able to get him another one or something extremely similar. It was one of the last gifts my mom got my dad. I’d love to engrave it as well. From the description I have given can someone please tell me the model or model number for this particular seiko? Your help is greatly appreciated!
Update/edit: figured out what the watch is. It’s a seiko coutura. 2 tone and solar powered. Thank you everyone for your help!
