Hey r/watches,
I've been lurking here for several months, as well as on r/watchexchange. Currently, the nicest watch I have is a Fossil with a Chinese mechanical movement, and I'm fed up with it being 15min fast per day.
So, while I've learned quite a bit about horology in general, I still think I need guidance in selecting a watch. I'm hoping to find something under $800. I'd like it to have a black leather or canvas strap, but a bracelet works just as well. If at all possible, I'd love to have it resemble a Tudor North Flag, with the black and yellow dial variant.
EDIT: I wrote Black Bay, I meant North Flag. My bad
Outside of that very specific request, I've looked at the Steinhart Bronze Pilot (44mm) and the Hamilton Khaki Aviation, which are about $450 and $700 respectively.
Thanks for taking the time to read/look around, cheers!
