My grand father passed away recently, and found in a box of his stuff was this pocket watch : http://imgur.com/a/uXJCd
It has Auguste Saltzman and Chaux do Fonds on it, which means absolutely nothing to me. I've always appreciated and enjoyed mechanical watches, but never owned anything fancy, so I was hoping to get as much info as I could.
I know it needs a key to be wound, I don't know how long it was sitting around for, it was going to be given to kids as play jewelry before a family member thought of me and gave it to me.
I've also seen some ebay posts with similar watches, going for a fair price, I don't know if mine is genuine or not, regardless I'd like to keep it, and if possible get it working. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
