[Question] I want a Stowa Antea, but I'm also considering an alternative, whether it be a similar, cheaper watch or a used Stowa. As long as it tells time accurately, I should be okay with either quartz or auto.

Here and here are examples of the Antea watches. I appreciate how plain and simple they look. This is a semi-formal/dress/workplace style but still can be worn casually because of its plainness and I like that flexibility.

The VAT on the Stowa watches are very discouraging for me to actually make the purchase, though to be frank, even without VAT, it would not be an easy decision to purchase.

So ultimately, should I buy a cheaper watch that's similar or should I just get a used Stowa? I'm located in the US. I'd like to keep it lower than 400, but if it's something amazing for price, then I might consider higher prices.
