Is this Cartier Tank too small?
Hi everyone, need a bit of help! I found a great deal for a small Cartier Tank Must with a black lacquer dial - something I’ve been looking at getting for a long while. I went into the dealer to try it on, and found it to be much smaller than expected. I’ve always been into smaller watches, but was worried this was too small. I forgot to save the close up I took of the small size, but I took a mirror shot of it. I tried on the large size and felt it looked better when I looked down at it, but the large had already been sold and was just there waiting to be picked up. I walked away without it, but am now rethinking my choice. Do you think I should go back in and pick up the small model? For reference, I have pretty small wrists (I believe my wrists are just under 6”) and usually wear a BB58, so this would be a very bold transition to something a bit more “dainty”. The mirror photo is the small, and the up close one is the large model - sorry for the terrible photo quality!
