Hi y'all

I hear this all the time, people or youtubers always say "this watch is good value for money or" or something similar to that. How do people measure this? Based on what?

I mean sure there are some common things, for instance, movement, reserve, finishing etc.. but there are many different choices out there so that it is IMO impossible to say that a hamilton is a better value than seiko (which is something I heared a lot on YouTube channels, but not limited to these two brands specifically), and the reason is just "you get a better value for money" or "more watch for the money". What is that supposed to mean and how do people or "influencers?" measure this

Wouldn't casio be always the most value for money watch and basically destroy all the other watches if we use this "value for money" argument?
