Queen Ranavalona, upon her success on the mainland, had a seafaring vessel constructed, to explore the ocean and find more land to settle on.

After an intellectual at the city of Betroka developed a fantastic seafaring device, two were constructed, and expeditions were sent out to the east and west of the UZR.

As of this date, the first- from the east- has returned from their journey. They claim to have discovered two islands due straight east, and feel like they would be nice places to settle.

The Queen plans on building another ship for this journey. They will head out of Fort Dauphin and travel towards the island. They will both stay for three months, then one of the ships will return to the UZR to inform the Queen of the process of the expedition.

The entire UZR is hoping this mission will be a success.

(-2 for rolls for this expansion and my next due to lack of Military-Settling forces. Another -2 as this is my first trip out to sea.)
