The age of Bronze has come, and it is about to revolutionise war in the valley. Previously the dependence was on bone weapons, scrap shards, and leather - and the bow. But now, Bronze allows Hunters to be protected against all but the strongest blows, to resist cuts and bruises, and to edge their own weapons much more reliably.
The problem however, is how to implement it. The soldiers of Fergana are by their very nature not suited to massive suits of Bronze, stuffed thick with cloth. They need mobility and flexibility to retain their natural prowess. Early attempts to create suitable armour have fallen flat, and it remains to be seen what methods will stick.
Furthermore, there is not nearly enough Bronze around to both arm and armour the increasingly large force required to keep order in the valley and the mountains. This forces compromises to be made, and generally soldiers are erring on the side of increased protection. It remains to be seen what innovations can be made to solve this problem.
At temporary capital Osh, Guli sets up her court, and watches as the increasingly large military camp on the hills outside grows everyday.
Tech: Improved Weapons and Armour, I substituted Iron for Metals I, which is what I have. 2 Timber and 1 Metals I used.
