History: After many conflicts in the region the lima area remained relatively unharmed despite that falling of nukes which silenced the rest of the world. But what hurt them the most was famine and plagues which seemed to be spreading over the world like a wild fire.

People began to blame the rapid advance in technology and the conquests by the spanish which happened long ago for the pain and suffering that is currently happening.

People from the mountains and surrounding regions began migrating back to the coast back to ancient city of Chan Chan, hoping to go back to their roots of where their civilization was started.

After what people called the apocalypse happened people began to reject the old god, which was brought to them by the Spaniards, adopting teaching from those that claimed they still practiced the religion of old. The most radical of these who named himself Tacaynamo, came to power and with the help of his radical followers he organized people in the land the the old Chan Chan empire inhabited before the Incan and Spanish conquests. He foretold the Gods were angry and demanded human sacrifices to the moon be made. Soon after the mass waves of starvation and plague seemed to die out and people seemed to be getting healthy again which also helped him strengthen his hold over the people. The once old ruins of Chan Chan were reinhabited teeming with life, Ancient fields which were left in ruin were now reused and fields of green.

The population threw off most of the modern technology, but held on to some, such as firearms and farming equipment. Metal not being in short supply as the near by mountians provided most of what they needed, the weapons over time taking a more primitive look covered in decorations of their new gods.
