At this point im at titan canyon. Im trying to rescue Bart for Jill, but this camp of Raiders is just summarizing most of my experience with enemies at this point.
I have only a single Ranger thats below average in speed. Virtually every single enemy is getting to go before me, and on top of that a number of the raiders are getting multiple turns before some of my members even get to attack the first time. The monk thats with them will literally have 3-4 turns before my heavy gunner even gets to have his first turn.
Their Sharpshooters will somehow have enough AP to move and fire a sniper twice and still make shots across the entire map.
They have like a 50% crit rate, and my 8 luck assault rifleman crits maybe 10% of the time.
On top of this there is literally zero intuition when it comes to user interactivity. The AI moving my mates around when selected as a group will deliberately walk over mines that ive already spotted with perception. Theyll back up before moving forward starting fights accidentally.
So much stuff in this game makes absolutely no sense and is needlessly difficult to do. The diamondback HQ? The guy who sent me to find them? Yeah unless I pass some absolutely ridiculous skillchecks (level 4 demo and alarm disarm is 0%, and level 7 safecracking is like 15%) theres no way to talk to them or even get inside without them being hostile even though a fucking quest sent me there to talk to them.
Forgot to add, countless times where enemies can shoot you but you can't shoot back from the exact same spot, also enemies clearly set up don't register as enemies so I'm not allowed to snipe them to start the fight :)
This stuff is EVERYWHERE. and it's borderline making me wanting to quit.
Advice?
