Welcome to the Washington State community in support of Bernie Sanders for President Campaign!
First and foremost, this community does not represent the campaign in any official manner, but rather is an expression of public support and effort to organize movement onward. Our goal is to help Bernie Sanders win the Democratic Nomination and ultimately win the General Election to place Sanders as the head of the Executive Branch of the U.S. ... it doesn't end there how ever as this is also a movement to fix the political landscape which includes but is not limited to legislative representation on both a national and local level. Remember, you are unlikely to be represented in politics unless you make effort to represent yourself and learn about what you are asking for.
/r/WashingtonForSanders while operated by Washington State activists, remains under the umbrella of 'States for Sanders' organization efforts on Reddit across the U.S.A.
/r/WashingtonForSanders is also in collaboration with Washington State grassroots organization & leadership surrounding www.WAforBernie.com, which extends to the Washington for Bernie Slack, Facebook group and Twitter which is responsible for much of the unity across the State.
THIS IS WHO WE ARE FIGHTING FOR!

I am new, why should I support Bernie Sanders' bid for POTUS?
- First and foremost, this is a grassroots ran campaign, make no mistake about it. Bernie Sanders would not be in his position if he did not have support of not business and establishment influence, but the people of this nation who he seeks to represent. With that said, there is not only Bernie Sanders to speak for himself or his website but ultimately resources compiling his compelling history, the differences he has made and his consistent principles by the public.
Here are 3 sources that I plead for you to consult!

What's this talk about Super Delegates?
The competition has placed a spin in an attempt to shake public outlook on the probability of a Bernie Sanders nomination as the Democratic Nominee. This is a farce.
Argument A: There is only a total of 712 super delegates in the Democratic Primary. 314 remain uncommitted. Wikipedia source
Argument B: Super delegates have never changed the outcome in a Democratic Primary and tend to vote with the people. Super delegates are unpledged (regardless of 'commitment') and hold no obligation to stick their vote. Super delegates want the party to win the POTUS above all else; it would be political suicide for super delegates to vote against the people.
Argument C: In 2008, Obama started off with a squandered minority of super delegates, graph. At the convention, Obama received 51% of pledged (popular) delegates but how ever received a whopping 66% of super delegates in his favor. Wikipedia source
Don't let anyone tell you that super delegates make this a losing battle!
