Hey, fresh to sim now (Vr with HOTAS x56) and I was wondering on any guide to dog fighting with the later ww2 planes. Currently I am maining China and have all planes before Gen 1 jets, but so far I have been ending up short when it comes to dogfighting things that are similar in tier. Usually I have no troubles when fighting any dual engine aircraft and bombers, but mainly Spitfires, Corsairs, and usually any mono prop aircraft really make me struggle for any advantage. Even in situations where I have altitude and speed, they out maneuver me and it becomes a long defensive fight I either lose or run away from by the skin of my teeth.

Tl;dr, how do I not die and get out of defensive flying. And any other quality of life tips would be appreciated!
