After 1 week of verifying my identity with Gaijin (major time zone gap) and disproving the hackers as not the original owners to my account, they fixed everything. I am the whale from the other week with over $26,000 in purchases over the years. I had never set up 2 factor authentication and in March of this year hackers scored my account, set up their own 2 factor authentication and initiated my primary email removal. I began my complaint last week with Gaijin and over the course of time, gave them the correct info they requested to ensure I was the original owner. This included screen shots of my original link date from Xbox to Gaijin’s website done many years ago, bank receipts of some purchases, emails verifying my account belonged to my email, etc.
Despite all the recent backlash and whirlwind of gameplay stuff surrounding Gaijin and WT, I have to give their customer service props. They did a very good job restoring my account.
I also immediately set up a new password, 2 factor authentication and like 7 security questions.
