What if they added mod support?

Ok so I want more game modes for ground and maybe air battles, a recent post I saw had suggested a hard-core more and it got me thinking. What if they added mod support, custom maps and modes etc. And they make it so you can search via custom game lobbies as we can kinda do now. However they allow you to earn rp and sl rewards at a reduced rate. Do you think that would work? Please discuss I want to hear some more ideas about this.
