today's news was me telling him my cats' warrior names, and he asked about naming conventions. cue me explaining everything about 'kits and 'paws.

but he's so sincerely curious (he's an animorphs kid, and i feel like the two can go hand-in-hand). he's always happy when i get the newest ASC book, and he's been here for me catching up with the other arcs. sometimes our texts are me going "NO YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND, ASHFUR TOOK OVER BRAMBLESTAR'S BODY AND MANIPULATED A MEDICINE CAT APPRENTICE" and he's just so down.
