Why is there not a movie or tv series?

Seriously, my friends and I have been wondering this for years. When will the world realize that Warrior Cats its actually very cute and whimsical. The plot is perfect for an animated series, it's really a wonder no one has picked it up. The most i've found is a fan animation series on YouTube but they dont make them anymore.
