How well does Underworlds play as a Solo experience?

So I am currently eyeing picking up one of the Underworlds starter sets, as the idea of the game is very interesting to me. However, I want to mostly play it solo. How well does the game play as a solo experience? I have found a few different solo rules online, but I wanted to check in with the actual community here on reddit to see how well it works out in practice.
And if anyone has Youtube vids showing the game in action (solo or otherwise) I would love to see them!
