To wait or start collecting now

Hey all! I’m sure we’re all excited for the Old World to come out in the next few months. I’m a newish player who is looking to get into fantasy so I figured I’d ask: should I start collecting now or just wait until the game comes out, as I’m sure the models will be available on the GW website? I’m torn between Empire or Tomb Kings, maybe even Vampire Counts even though they won’t be the focus of the Old World sadly. Thanks!
