I have been playing Necrons for about two years and have just started dabbling in competitive play. I am planning to join a league this summer and need to get my list straight. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with running Ophydian Destroyers and if they've liked one blob of six or two smaller units of three. I tested them as a squad of six and love their damage output, but it seems like overkill against most things and splitting it into two small squads might put more pressure on the board? Or will the two small squads just die too easily? Thoughts and feedback is much appreciated!
