9th edition is upon us and with the changes and new units we have at our disposal I’m looking for some advice on the best way to use the big man.

Couple of points.

I’ll be playing 2000 points

Mostly playing at local games workshop or tournaments when they come back

Now we’ve had an increase overall in points it’s my belief that getting the most out of his melee profile is going to be more important than ever.

Just to make it clear I’m not asking for a list just advice. My plan going forward is taking him with some honour guard and probably agressors and walking him up the board I had a look at blade guard vets but I’m unsure.

Could a diversion section of my army be a good idea? Maybe some of the new bikes?

I would be extremely grateful for any and all advice on how to get the most out of this unit on the table, thank you in advance.
