I'm excited to share my 1k Khorne list with you all. Below is a breakdown of the units in my list, along with their points and roles. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Context: I'm in a small Warhammer 40k local group where the other players are experienced and optimize their units and strategies. I'm new to the game and chose Daemons because they look cool. My two friends play Imperial Knights and Thousand Sons. I want an army that can stand toe-to-toe with them. I'm currently learning more about strategy, but I also want to make sure my units are solid.

CHARACTERS - 475 pts

Bloodmaster - 65 pts
Blade of Blood
Strategy: Leading the bloodletter unit for a bloodletter bomb

Great Unclean One - 260 pts
Putrid Vomit, Bilesword, The Endless Gift, Plague Flail
Strategy: This is to hold objective and provide long-range support. Unclean One is also low points high value

Rendmaster on Blood Throne - 150 pts
Attendant's Hellblades, Blade of Blood
Strategy: Can't run Khorne Daemons without Rendmaster

BATTLELINE - 160 pts

10 Bloodletters - 120 pts
Daemonic Icon, Instrument of Chaos, Hellblade
Composition:
9x Bloodletter: Hellblade
1x Bloodreaper: Hellblade
Strategy: Bloodletter bomb

3 Nurglings - 40 pts
Nurgling Swarm: Diseased Claws and Teeth
Strategy: Secondary Objectives and screening for Unclean One

MOUNTED - 220 pts

3 Bloodcrushers - 110 pts
Composition:
2x Bloodcrusher: Hellblade, Juggernaut's Bladed Horn
1x Bloodhunter: Hellblade, Juggernaut's Bladed Horn
Strategy: Great source of mortal wounds and movement. Deep Striking this unit, along with blood letter bomb

3 Bloodcrushers - 110 pts
Composition:
2x Bloodcrusher: Hellblade, Juggernaut's Bladed Horn
1x Bloodhunter: Hellblade, Juggernaut's Bladed Horn
Strategy: Using this other unit to run with the hounds and vanguard GUO

BEASTS - 140 pts

5 Flesh Hounds - 70 pts
Composition:
4x Flesh Hound: Collar of Khorne, Gore-drenched Fangs
1x Gore Hound: Burning Maw, Collar of Khorne, Gore-drenched Fangs
Strategy: Controlling primaries, mobile around the battlefield, supporting Bloodcrushers

5 Flesh Hounds - 70 pts
Composition:
4x Flesh Hound: Collar of Khorne, Gore-drenched Fangs
1x Gore Hound: Burning Maw, Collar of Khorne, Gore-drenched Fangs
Strategy: Fodder to movement block early game and/or capture an early objective to increase shadow of chaos.
