So I’m coming back after about a year and a half or so break. I have a massive collection and a huge backlog. To give you an idea, I’ve got about 10k points of “traitor” guard painted, 4K of knights and 1k of DG painted. I’m a big “play it painted” type of player. It’s getting warm so I can finally paint and prime again. But I don’t know where to go from here as I’ve been out of the community for so long. I’ve never really been the competitive type of player but would like to know: what would be fun to play against? As that’s really what matters to me.

I know it’s kinda vague. And I don’t know what I’m really doing. Right know I’m painting a rhino for my DG, and waiting on primer for my last two armigers and two basilisks. But idk where to go after as I haven’t played in years. I’ve got pretty much every model and FW model in my backlog for guard and knights if not already painted. As well as some titans. But they’re intimidating to hop into straight after a break.

What would y’all like to see across the table from you? Where would you start if you were coming back with these armies?
