Hi y'all it's me again, a couple months ago I asked about getting into tabletop and I finally picked up 500 points worth of Guard minis. Tonight I'm putting them together, but not painting just yet cause I wanted to ask for color advice. I wanted to go for a revolutionary war theme where my guardsmen are part of some small Commonwealth of Man, what kind of primer and paints should I use if going for Red, White, and Blue. On another not what should the flag be, currently I'm thinking an eagle with broken chains and several stars on a blue banner otherwise I'm open to ideas.

I also want to thank you people who commented on my last post for providing insight and advice as I breach into what I hope is a hobby I stay invested in.
