Played Necrons back when we just would not die, life happened and I fell out of the hobby, gave a buddy who already had 3 armies my Necrons.

When the apocalypse hit I actually ended up with a decent amount of spare money, started really getting into the lore, fell in love with the alpha legion, and am now sitting on 2,000 pts of Alpha Legion.

All the melee units have icon of wrath, including the terminators. Terminators are on the table turn 1, and pushed 9" forward with the alpha legion strat forward operatives before turn 1 with the sorc for warp time and diabolic strength to get their melta guns in range, and for a turn 1 charge. Raptors lock units down and pick up backfield objectives, lord deepstrikes with oblits or raptors wherever it makes the most sense.
