Hey there!

Just bought the dark imperium starter set, some primer and painting supplies!

I’ve never played warhammer 40k before but I’ve always been fascinated by the look of it and the lore behind it, the little I know.

Was wondering what you guys think of the box set and if either one of the armies is a good starting point into 8th edition. I’ve always loved the look of space marines and am kind of leaning towards them.

Plan on painting a few of my d and d minis first for some practice before I go on to the warhammer minis!

If you have any advice or tips on how to get into the game, things I should look into to boost one of the starting armies and possibly get active in the community, let me know!
