2 different painting methods

I'm currently trying some things out before starting to paint my army. So this are testing models. The model on the left had its paint thinned with water. The right model paint thinned with pouring medium.
The model on the left did also get a wash with nuln oil. On the model on the right I tried a little bit of drybrushing.
What model do you prefer the most, or what would you have done different? I have 3 more testing models left. So there is room to try some more things out. What would you suggest?
