Can I play my Sons of Horus from 30k as True Sons in 40k?

Hey guys!

I got into Warhammer through that fabulous trailer for Horus Heresy. I didn't really have a doubt in my mind that I want to play the legion of the main antagonist. Recently, as I got further in the lore and towards 40k I began to wonder if I could use my army in 40k 10th edition games.

I figured they'd be CSMs and also found a warband called True Sons, which is the closest to what I've got. I like the Black Legion and Abaddon, but my paint scheme was different for my models.

I guess my question is, can I do that? Can I play the True Sons with my 30k army?
