Nightlord player here pretty new the game. Been playing with my buddy (alpha legion) at around 1000 pts small skirmish games. But i keep getting destroyed by his army

My army was: Praetor with jump pack,chainglaive, and flaymaster warlord trait Contekar termies with 5 volkite culvis all 5 chainblades 10 man legion tactical with chainbayonets, vexilla, and sgt with artificer armor 10 man terror squad with 1 rotor cannon and artificer on the sgt 5 raptors with dual lightning claws Vs Praetor with paragon blade (forgot the warlord trait) 2 legion tacticals with sgt with artificer 5 man headhunter squad 5 tyrant siege termies and 1 contemptor with lascannon and power fist
