Stuck trying to build a Mini Storage Solution

Post Body

So a while back I asked how people stored their minis for transport, and one person suggested I look at this video by Duncan Rhodes: Build Your Own Figured Case

Well this weekend I decided to give this a shot. I got a 8.1 Liter "Really Good Box" storage box and ordered the tiny 5mm x 2mm magnets off Amazon, along with this magnetic adhesive vinyl right here

Now, the issue is that vinyl. Straight up, it is incredibly weak. It basically might as well be paper for how well it holds a mini. At first I thought it might be the magnets, but I tested my magnetized minis on a cookie sheet and the metal leg of my desk, and they held the mini up easily. Its soley that vinyl.

Does anyone know of a good magnetic vinyl i can get in the USA that can be used for this sort of build? I didnt get a big pack of that so I am not in the hole very much cash, and the other items are still good. I also tried some sheet metal pieces but the glue I have wouldnt hold them down AND they are kind of sharp (spent like $2 on em so it aint no big thing) so I would much rather find a magnetic option for my plastic box.
