edit: Solved with a workaround

For some reason I can't get the game to launch with Big Picture Mode at all. I really want to get into the game, but I'm going to be going down for surgery soon and won't be able to physically be at my computer for quite some time due to how it's set up.

I was hoping to get the game running on my Steam Link but everytime I hit play in BPM it seems to do exactly... nothing. It doesn't even feel like it registers I pressed it. Just plays the sound to say I've clicked the button but the button text doesn't even flicker to something else.

I've tried verifying game integrity, restarting BPM, restarting my steam link, restarting Steam, restarting my PC, reinstalling, asking for assistance in the Steam forums (which honestly has no guarantee of an answer, I guess here doesn't either necessarily), went to the Discord (which as I'm sure you are aware is muted), and figured by the time I got a response back from Steam Support I would already be healed up from my surgery... So this is the only other place I know to turn. I've been trying to figure this out for the last 4.5 hours and my google-fu is failing me.

If anyone has solved this problem before or knows someone I can get in touch with to try to get this solved, I'd appreciate the heads up.

tl;dr - From Steam Big Picture Mode the game will not launch. It doesn't even act like it's trying to launch. Has anyone run into this and can anyone help me/direct me to a way to fix it?

Thanks.
