So I recently got this and when looking up builds for it I came across the post showing 6 (yes, SIX!) nullifier bubbles getting obliterated by this neat little gun. Its secondary fire spits out the entire magazine that turns into a radial bullet grenade that deals BLAST damage rather than the normal physical damage types (similar to the nail grenade from Team Fortress Classic). Although its alt-fire a great fire-and-forget weapon, its main drawback is the limited range which is similar to the Penta.

An ideal build for this might be:

  • Hornet Strike, Barrel Diffusion Lethal Torrent for multishot — 180% multishot will guarantee that you shoot 2 grenades with a high chance of 3. Possibly Magnum Force for even more damage if you have room for it, but status chance is equally valuable if not more.

  • Slip Magazine Ice Storm to increase the magazine size to make the grenades last longer.

  • Stack the dual event mods (e.g. Virulent Scourge) to take advantage of the relatively high base status chance and blast proc.

  • Since the secondary fire uses up the entire magazine, there's an argument to be made for pistol ammo mutation. Personally I would just bring ammo pizzas.
