Can someone tell me if theres any unique interaction between Mag's Magnetize and the Simulor

Like the title states, I'm trying to make a new set up for my mag and I'm assuming that Mag's Magnetize draws in and combines Simulor's orbs together, but I want to make sure that's the case before purchasing the simulor.
While we're at it what about the drakgoon, it's a projectile based shotgun with punchthrough so I'm guessing it should have multi-hit ability much like the Lanka.
