Post Body

Every major combatant in WW2 had an interservice rivalry of some sort, but the interservice rivalry in Japan between the IJN and IJA seemed to be leagues worse than their military contemporaries, having a debilitating effect on the Japanese war effort.

Am I correct in thinking that Japan's interservice rivalry was especially intense, and if so, why was that the case?
