The Japanese were known for Banzai Charges and using swords in WW2. But in the instances where they had the opportunity to engage in melee combat and survive to have an opinion about it, what did they think of their encounters with soldiers of other nations? The Chinese also issued swords to their soldiers well into WW2 and Filipino resistance also relied on cold weapons.
