Indirect Fire Capability for Anti-Armor
Post Flair (click to view more posts with a particular flair)
Post Body
I was considering this recently; with drone fire correction, guided shells, and modern fire control computers it should be possible for tanks to provide relatively accurate indirect fire. I do not see this capability as replacing artillery. I see instead as an augmentation. The indirect fire capability would be used to engage individual tanks/AFVs. To give tanks the same "beyond visual range" capability that ships currently have. Does anyone else see how this capability could be useful?
