How would supplying the Confederate Army with Rip Its have affected the Battle of Gettysburg?

Post Body
There's a great alternate history book about time traveling Boers supplying the Confederate army with AK-47s. But what about instead supplying them with an unlimited supply of Rip It, on the eve of the Battle of Gettysburg? Would the Rip Its lead to a Confederate victory? Could the bodies, and more importantly minds, of Southern soldiers even handle a Rip It?
